ipod not appear in itunes |

iPod doesn't mount or not appear in itunes
1) ipod will not be recognized by low power USB port so make sure to plug in usb2.0 port or fire wire port.
2) it needs all the power a fire wire port can deliver soo if it is connected with chain of fire wire devices it will not get required power and soo it will not appear in itune.
3) reset your ipod I have explained it in last post how to reset ipod.
4) If you are using mac system then restart pc while holding a shift key of keyboard this will disable start up items and if ipod respond to this treatment should be restored.
5) for first three generation i pods hold next and previous button and for mini and fourth generation play and the Select button to place the iPod in Disk Mode. If ipod mount only with this disk mode then it should be restored.

iPod Touch/iPhone 3G: Explicit Rated Songs Will Not Download |

Now songs that were rated as Explicit would not sync over to my iPod Touch. There is a setting that controls this that was toggled to Off somehow.
1. From the Home screen tap Settings.
2. Select General.
3. Select Restrictions.
4. Set Explicit to On.
Now you should be able to download explicit music to your iPod Touch or iPhone |

What to Do When iPod Freezes |

The most common problem people email me about is that their iPod is frozen. They want to know what to do about it. The first thing you need to check is to make sure the Hold switch isn’t enabled on the device. If the Hold switch is enabled, your iPod will not respond to any buttons you push. Make sure Hold is switched to Off. If your iPod is truly frozen, you will need to learn how to reset it. There are different steps required depending on the model you own. 1. If your iPod Classic has become frozen or is not responding, you may need to force it to reset. To do so, simply press and hold the Menu and Center buttons simultaneously for about 6 seconds. The Apple logo will appear and should reset your iPod Classic. |
