Wireless Internet Sharing
If you plan on sharing your wireless internet access, you will need to have that option turned on in your settings. However, if you do not have other computers hooked up to the network at this time, for security purposes, you should leave the setting turned off until the need arises to share the wireless internet access.

Coming in at the slowest is Bluetooth, followed by 802.11b, 802.11a and topping the charts currently is 802.11g. 802.11b is roughly equivalent to the traditional wired 10BaseT Wired Ethernet networks. How to hiding icons on the bottom of your screen? |

By using this tip you can hide the useless icons on the bottom of your system screen (right end of the taskbar). Because some of the icons will useful for you on system tray area but may be others list of icons not useful for you so you can hide all extra icon very easily. Many programs that run in the background on your computer but you are not using regularly such as antivirus software, volume controller, backup applications. The system tray can get cluttered with useless icon, so you may not wants to display them on the tray.

Change your Windows XP Boot Screen |

This is a very simple trick to do if you have done the same for the logon screen and the start button. There are 2 ways to do this trick that I know about one is doing it manually and the other is using a program called bootxp. I am going to tell you the manual way to do it, but if you want to know the other way just let me know, so I can do an update to the guide. Now once you have downloaded your ntoskrnl.exe file save it a general location so that you will have easy access to it, like my folder.
Once you have ntoskrnl.exe file in an easy access folder, restart your pc into safe mode. Once into safe mode go to the folder where your files are located. |

Changing Drive Letters in Windows 2000 |

If you find the need to change a drive letter, Windows 2000 makes this possible. Here’s how:
In the Control Panel, select Administrative Tools. The Administrative Tools folder will pop up.
In that folder, select Computer Management.
Click on Disk Management and wait for the Logical Disk Manager Service to finish scanning your system’s drives. You will then see a list of the drives available in your system. |
